Making Body Oil

Making Body Oil

Whenever you decide to do a DIY, you can pick and choose the additives to benefit your needs. This is how I made our Beauty Body oil, and I will explain why I chose the ingredients I did.
Using a 4 oz dropper bottle.

Add one teaspoon tamanu oil, one teaspoon blueberry extract, one teaspoon strawberry extract and desired essential oils.

Due to the size of my bottle, I used a total of 50 drops of my combined essential oils. In this particular case I used all anti-aging supporting oils.

Add any floral of your choice for a more aesthetic look. And fill the bottle with your choice of non-comedogenic oil. You can use such oils as grapeseed oil, sunflower seed oil, neem oil, hemp seed oil, sweet almond oil and there's more.
For my main oil I used watermelon seed oil. The benefits outweighed any other oil that I read about. It has moisturizing, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-aging, and anti-acne properties. With helping to moisturize all skin types and even the skin tone.
Tamanu oil is also moisturizing, has anti-inflammatory properties. It can be wound healing and help with acne.
Blueberry extract has pro retinol which can aid and support of reducing the appearance of aging signs, fine lines and wrinkles. Helping the skin to have a youthful and radiant glow, while hydrating and plumping the skin.
Strawberry extract has vitamin C and rich in polyphenols. Providing protection for the skin and skin soothing properties. Can also be used as a toner to reduce the appearance of pores. And in some cases, it can reduce or fade away any hyperpigmentation and dark spots.
For essential oils I just searched for the most desired benefits. Such as moisturizing, skin soothing, anti-aging, hyperpigmentation, and gentle to help the skin glow naturally.
